About this Item: Crafted from natural materials, our comfortable wooden clogs offer a delightful wearing experience. We understand that finding the perfect fit can be challenging, which is why we have created a comprehensive size guide to assist you in selecting the right Sandgrens size. Scroll down to the Product Description section and follow the step-by-step instructions to determine your ideal fit.
For more information about the materials used and the proper care for your clogs, please continue reading the Product Description. We take pride in handcrafting all our clogs at our factory in Sweden.
[Find Your Sandgrens Size] Unsure about your Sandgrens size? Fret not, we've got you covered. Please follow these steps: 1. Stand upright on a solid surface, with your heels against the wall and a blank piece of paper taped to the floor. 2. Measure both feet from the heel to the tip of your longest toe to ensure a proper fit. Take the longer of the two measurements and add 1/16 of an inch (0.2 cm) or more if additional comfort is desired. 3. Compare your measurement against the sizing chart. Note that the chart shows the actual base measurement of the footbed.
[Caring for Your Clogs: Vegetable Tanned Leather] Vegetable tanned leather does not contain synthetic coatings, as natural materials like tree bark are used during the tanning process. Initially, you may find the leather more rigid than our other leather types, but rest assured it will break in over time. The presence of scars and marks on your vegetable tanned leather is a result of it being a living material. Vegetable tanned leather clogs (excluding the nude color) can be polished with shoe polish or cleaned with any common shoe cleaner.
[Caring for Your Clogs: Nubuck Leather] Nubuck is naturally sensitive to water, so it's best to avoid wearing these clogs in the rain. Additionally, do not apply shoe polish to your nubuck leather clogs. Instead, we recommend using a horsehair brush regularly to prevent any dirt from becoming a permanent stain.
[Caring for Your Clogs: Wooden Base] Avoid wearing your wooden base clogs in heavy rain, as it may cause the wood to swell. Wood clogs are rigid and will not stretch or bend. Although sturdy, wood is a fragile material that can chip or crack if struck against hard surfaces. If you do encounter a chip, you can glue the piece back using regular wood glue or use sandpaper to even out the surface, depending on the size of the chip. Sandpaper can also help remove marks and dirt from the wood.
